The accounts of the Russian consulates in Houston and New York were closed by the Bank of America, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said on Sunday.
"Essentially, the embassy is under a blockade by US government agencies," he said on Rossiya-1 television. "The accounts of our two consulates general in Houston and New York were closed by the Bank of America."
